Nice to meet you all, excited to finally join and give after "taking" for years.
I am also interested in product recommendations and hearing different opinions from members. I'm based in LA (DT, West Side, Valley, and South Bay) as well as up north in the Central Coast (Santa Barbara County, Santa Maria/Oceano/Pismo areas). Have decent mechanical skills, but sadly lacking in fabrication/welding skills.
My rig is a daily driven bone stock 1995 Ranger XLT Supercab, 2.3L with the 7.5-inch diff and 5-speed manual. I run BFG KO2s on all 4 corners. She's taken me from the Chico, Ca to San Carlos in Baja California, and never let me down ONCE!
THE PLAN: is getting her to Overlanding status but her home turf is the Ocean Dunes off the pavement. Just now starting the suspension rebuild/upgrades. Want to repaint vermillion red (any recommendations for rattle cans?) and straighten a few dings. Want to maybe bump up to 32 or 33-inch diameter rubber and finally add a bakflip bed cover to her.
Looking for a 95-97 supercab 4x4 rig as well anywhere in Wash, Ore, or California.
