I think the gen 2's look the best lowered.

Mine is still stock in this picture but you get the idea. I run 235/60r14's on it i the summer so it sits lower than this picture. I think it looks cool.... Looks low next to my other truck.

No Offense Intended>>>

I like the early square style (83-88), but I personally think the rounded style Ranger's are the best lookin:
Son's 93 XLT w/V8, auto, and 7.5 posi w/3.73's...............

03 with some work. fun trucks and easy to work on, I prefer the 98+ suspension just for tire wear.

Yes, it's a std. cab, shortbox (6') bed.......

Yes, all year Rangers are this, the 7' longbed and Supercab are all options.

Yes, we bought plexiglass at Lowes to make the instrument cluster and switch panels on all our trucks, then painted them with wrinkle finish paint to blend in with the rest of the dash. I even made one for my 92 C2500 tow rig to mount my mechanical gauges in the dash.

THANKS for the kudos & interest!!!:icon_thumby:

Why sure :D

-HO 5.0L (from 96,000 mile 93 T-bird) all stock internals
-AOD (same 93 T-bird, rebuilt 18,000 miles ago / stock convertor
-Performer 289 intake
-Edelbrock 600 CFM carb:annoyed:
-Headman 89500 headers
-2 1/4 into 2 1/2 dual exhaust with Flowmaster dual in/single out muffler and --single 3 in. tailpipe :sad:
-B&M Starshifter (It took a lil' work to get this to work with the AOD)
-stock 7.5 with worn out Trac-loc and 3.45 gears :sad::sad:
-245/50R16 street Radials (on 2006 Mustang 16x7 wheels)
- SN95 p/s and alt. brackets, (bottoms trimmed off)
- The engine mounts look to be home engineered :icon_welder:
-Radiator is an older James Duff. from what I can tell.
- Spal 1600 CFM electric fan

My next "upgrades" will be
- Explorer 8.8 with trac-loc and 4.10 gears
- 3000-3200 stall convertor (direct drive because I drive this thing 50+ miles a day)
- slicks or Drag radials

Then I will see what kinda times I have then. the Goal is 8.20's in the 1/8th and 12.80 in the 1/4.

Best run so far with a horrible stumble right at launch that I have not been able to cure yet, I know its in that awful Edelbrock carb, Its a huge lean miss as soon as you nail the throttle!!

2.13 60 ft
9.26 1/8
14.4 1 1/4

More pics...

The best part is I have less than $2800 in the entire truck. :icon_bounceblue:
