Alignment

I took my truck in for alignment, and thy told me I need to replace the spindle and steering knuckle on the left side because it was bent and could not get in back in aligned. is there a way to measure it to see if its really bent?

Not really... best way is to compare it with the other side. They should be symmetrical.
