I currently have the superlift extended radius arm kit on my truck with what I believe are 6" coils that are used and was told they sag.
My passenger side axle beam on the truck sits so much lower then the drivers side, and I dont believe it would be possible to align. I need some input on whether or not I should try to align it or I should just go with 4" springs.:annoyed:

The rest of the images of my truck can be seen in the build below

This is how the passenger side sat, if I move the truck across my driveway it loses rubber

get the fully adjustable 4* bushings and see what you can do, go from there... I think I have the same coils and I aligned mine...

if you hav efully adjustable camber/caster bushings you should be able to get those tires straight up and down. If the springs were sagging the tops of the tires would start to point towards each other as the weight of the vehicle would sag into them allowing the traction beams to push closer tot the frame. Then you have to figure tops of tires wll pull towards each other as the toe is set as well.

The springs are 2" more then the axles drops. So if they sagged it wouldn't toe them in unless the springs were beat, a normal sag would move It closer to true but the driver side looks ok. The pass looks stiff

Your toe alignment is probably way off, which puts the suspension into a bind, artificially affecting it's height (if you drive backwards, does it then squat down?)

You may have to do an initial alignment on it before you can really get a good idea how far off you are.
Get a couple steel plates and rods to put under one of your front tires (and a piece of wood, stepping stone, etc. of similar thickness for the opposite tire). The rods will relieve any bind created by your toe being off and should better reveal how far off you are on your camber.

^^ This. And did you say you dont have the correct drop brackets on there/ That's DEFIITELY your problem. :icon_idea:

Well yes, but you can put a 2in leveling kit on stock and still align the vehicle. Its the same where im at im just all but 2in off.

There should be no issue aligning 4" brackets with 6" coils....

I'm running 6" skyjacker coils on my 97 regular cab and had to drop the brackets down to the 4" holes to get the best alignment out of it. Same when I had that set up on my 91.

What was the final degree you hit with your camber?

the only measurement I make on alignments is toe with a tape measure from the inside front and rear lip of the wheels... I do camber by eye, if my setup was more optimal I would attempt to measure caster but as it is I just get as much as I can with the camber being close, need to extend my radius arms and add caster to them.

My truck drives almost straight (as straight as it has since I've had it) with the steering wheel centered...

Witht th eprice of tires going up every time I look, It is cheap insurance to put i ton an alignment rack and set it up correctly. Not to mention a friend owns a shop so I can play with the aligment on his rack if I feel like spending the time on it. I do not worry over all about the caster on the truck but th edifference side to side. Camber and toe are very important to worry about as far as killing tires.

Here is what my numbers looked like with my different lift kits.

After installing the camber bushing on just the passenger side, and backing the vehicle up. I noticed the tires are almost straight. Pass has just a very slight push out, but after adjusting the toe and pushing out on the tie rods, the tire started to come back in. Its still wacked out in forward but in reverse its perfect almost. Im just gonna wait for my drop pitman arm to arive so Im not shooting myself in the foot.

It is a toe issue.
