alcohol

That's interesting. I think the time involved processing (not to mention growing/harvesting) enough would far offset the monetary savings.

Try gettin caught with a still in your back yard and saying it's for your car. That'll go over well.

Alcohol is for drinking,
corn is for eating
sugar is for candy
gas is for trucks

whats with your intrest in alternate fuels?

nothing wrong with that... if nobody ever had any curiosity about anything, where would we be today?

form

there is a simple form you send AFT.Because of ATF regulations, you will need to add a little bit of gasoline to denature any alcohol you have sitting around. Just 2 to 5% is enough to do the trick. This way, if you ever do get a surprise visit from the ATF (since they know about your still because of the Fuel distillation permit you took out), they can see right away that you are making fuel, not drinking alcohol.
"I also saw the opportunity to collect wasted corn meal, oats, wheat, and other grains that leak out of cracks in the hammer mills and fall on the floor.
The powder piles up 2ft deep in about a month.
I'm thinking of offering to clean up the mill once a month for $200 and I get to keep the waste.
I'm also looking for damaged or "off-taste" soda pop syrup tanks from local restaurants too.
Thanks,
Mike Powers " THis is a quot from the web page . whats with your intrest in alternate fuels? he ask Well if $3.00 a gal. is not doing it for you Just around the next bend $4.oo and then $5.00 wehre and when will it stop ?

Alternative fuels are definitely a good place to be, and will be better in the coming years. However finding one that is renewable, efficient and practical is the key.

Well, that wasnt my point. Alternate fuels are gone to be e only way anyone will be able to drive some day. I was just woundering why he went from looking at some new fangled hydrogen injection krap to runing on alcohol. Id say more, but dont wanna souind like a dink

why ?

I won`t to explor all ave, just think if you could combine e-85 & Hydrogen By no means am i pro or con on this i am just seeking info . I am leaning to a alcohol still , Might be fun.

Hey if you are gonna do anything your best bet is biodiesel...and a diesel engine. Seems like a simpler process, and you can use cooking oil from restaurants for FREE!! better way to go in my opinion!
