So I searched through almost 111 pages of this fourm category, and my eyes hurt!
Im looking at buying a 2008 sport 4x4 with 16" wheels. I took it for a drive, and pulled a front wheel off to try my stock 92 explorer 15" wheels I have with my winter tires on them. Surprise! they wont fit.
So , as my title says, has anyone mounted a set of 15" Alcoas on a 08+ ranger 4x4? Ultimatley I think they are the best looking rim, and really would like to use my winters that I have instead of buying new 16"s
Does an 07 FX4 Level ll have the same rotor and brake caliper as an 08 sport 4x4?
I have read some posts where ppl have actually ground down the caliper to make random 15"s work. Then some say they will and some say they wont. I think a steel wheel(thinner) could potentially work. But I dont know.
My stock 92 xploder rims ALMOST fit. There is a slight rub.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
