has anyone tried running a air shock setup on the front of there ranger with the ttb? beent thinking about how well it would work.

they work decently for what they are. only time i've really seen them used is on crawlers though, and those aren't DD trucks. can't say how well they'll do on the streets

While it should work, you'll probably have to go to atleast 2.5" shock to get the PPI to support an independant suspension with them without it being to soft or risk blowing the seals out from to high of pressure.

I think ShaneM had a set on his rig along with a SAS. He said one of its problems was not returning to ride hieght. Might wanna look him up and shoot him a message.

I run 10" Fox air shocks on the front of my dune buggy, but thats a whole different application.
