i have a 87 ranger with a 2.9L and i took out the air intake from the front to the air filter box. due to rust and mouse damage and dry rot the flap in side and the tube going to the exhaust manifold were both trashed. my first question is where it goes to the exhaust, can that just be plugged? and secondly would y'all suggest an after market intake system or a stock intake?
