Doing things wrong, until I get it right.
So I haver the air compressor unit, air hose, horns and a 4 prong relay. No wires. No instructions. Can anybody point me in the right direction to getting this booger hooked up to replace the factory horn on my Ranger. I'm going for the "little truck/big horn" combo, so when I honk, ppl look for a jacked up f350 with chrome forged rims and a smoke stack, but only see little ol' Me, in my single cab 2wd Ranger. LOL

This is what I got,
35036

or maybe this one,
35037

Ive got one of those (came from harbour freight) and have a new-in-the-box dixie air horn set I just got for christmas. the dixie horn came with trumpets, compressor, length of air line and a relay, some hardware but no wires, button/switch or instructions. I dont recall if the harbour freight set came with instructions or not. I never bothered with the relay on that set, just a 25 amp fuse and a switch on the gearshift

For the horns and pump - drill holes, insert bolts, hang horns, tighten bolts... if horns fall you did something wrong... try again.

Relay wiring -
Pin 85 - ground
Pin 86 - power from horn or separate button
Pin 87 - fused power from battery
Pin 30 - out to air horn pump

Air pump - It has 2 terminals (+ & -), kinda self explanatory.

Those horns aren't very "quick" becuase the compressor takes a second to build up pressure so you'll no longer be able to do the polite "the damn light is green lady" horn tap. I'd leave the stock horn installed. If you splice the signal wire for the air horn relay into the stock horn wire it wont draw enough current to affect it and you will then have both horns. The stock horn for quick taps, and the big horn for long GET THE **** OUT OF MY WAY honks.

That is actually a good suggestion; if I wanted air horns that's how I'd do it. Follow snoranger's wiring instructions- it's dead nuts on.
