alright guys, so i have an 84 2.0, and i'm looking for more power. i'm gonna be workin on it for a while, gotta rebuild the carb. i was thinking about the intake system, and wondering if there was a way i could make it more efficient. has anyone thought about a cold air intake ?(i know it's stupid on my vehicle, but i'm goin for anything i can). not necessarily like a cold air, but just with less travel and turns for the incoming air.

i was also wondering if anyone had redone their intake manifold to be a little more like this?

i know it's not for a ford, but you get the idea. maybe a little taller, and more sweeping. i'm just looking at higher intake flow.
