air filter

im not sure if this is the exact place to put this... but one of my friends had a 2000 something, sorry i dont know the exact year, but before he sold it cause he couldnt kep up on the payments he took all the stuff he put on it off.


Well he k&n airfilter in it when he bought the car. and the other day he asked me if i wanted it for $20. that sounds good right??


well i my big question is, is can i fit the air filter from a mustang gt into my 4.0l v6??

$20 is a good deal if its in good shape (not torn or bent).

i dont think it'll fit though. it seems to me (going off memory here) that the mustang filter boxes are quite a bit larger than the ranger ones.

guess the quickest way to find out would be to try.
