Hey guys long story I have my air tanks and everything else mounted in the truck, and just got my compressor in the mail. It is an electric compressor, my question is, where do you suggest I mount it? I do not have room in the engine bay, as my dual batts take up the extra space I had, and I dont want to have to plumb it from the bay all the way back to my tanks (where spare used to be).

So give me some ideas/suggestions of where I should mount it. Remember I see a lot of snow/sand/mud, and my truck gets wheeled a fair bit.

Pix for clicks....

How loud is it? Might put it behind the jump seat if you have an ex-cab.

What about in the bed on the bedside? you can fab up a splash cover for it.

inside the outside fender? high enough to keep it clean. Otherwise, the bed is your only option. You can put it inside the cab as even noisy you prolly wont use it while driving, but it will create heat, which could be good or bad.
