Air box gasket?

The air box that houses the cabin air motor under the hood on the passenger side has lost most of the gasket that was there between it and the firewall on my '84. What could I use as a gasket there? The gap around it is letting exhaust get pumped into the cabin when the air is turned on.

You could try an RTV sealant.

If you can get some rubber mat and cut out the outline of the box that could be better.

House door weather stripping or window all sizes and thickness and density,Hello Home Depot

Ace Hardware has a ton of different door/window stuff that has sticky on one side to make your gasket. High density, closed cell would work best.
