My airbag light come's and goes, When I first bought the truck this happen and I took it back and they turned it off, and cost me $120 buck to do it. is there something I can do to fix this??

Leave your S.O. at home?

It's telling you there is something wrong with the system. Considering that could mean explosives going off in your face, I'm not going to touch that with a 500 foot pole. Take it to a shop.

I guarantee $120 is a bargain compared to recovery from a serious injury.

Next time it comes on count how many times the light flashes. For example flash flash pause flash flash flash = airbag code 23. This might help you narrow it down anyway.

It will repeat the code a couple times too, with a longer than normal pause in between the sets of code.

Mine would do that after I put my CD player in, evidently the switch on the dash wasn't quite plugged in all the way, although it was clicked on. Gave it a wiggle and 6 months later it hasn't blinked at me again.

MAKG is right, working on those bastards is dangerous. 'Bout the only thing I would do is disconnect the battery, then pull the wire connectors off of the sensors on the front (behind the bumper/grille) and make sure they're both dry. Put some diealectric grease in there and then reconnect the sensors and battery. If this doesn't fix it, don't just get them to clear the light, get them to fix the problem...

There are plugs on the seat belt buckles, and the switch on the dash to turn off the passenger side airbag as well.

After that, I agree, find someone else to fix it... them babies ain't cheap if you pop them.
