i have to admit... i have a British ricer!!! 1300lb car push 110 horses at the crank, roughly 90-95 at the wheels. i can beat anyone street light to street light. with my final drive gearing being 3.64 i have encridiable acceleration!!! aluminum head, race cam, race exhaust, aluminum raidator. every part of the motor has been touch. have a short glass plack, and it does sound like a ricer, but i love it because its a Mini and not not Honda!

My ex-girlfriends dad had a 88 mini cooper with the british flag on the roof. All it had was an exhaust (not ricey) and it was right hand drive. That damn thing would scoot!

After watching Fast and Furious my buddy and I got into his bone stock Intepid and left the theatre. Of course being that movie, a giant spoilered Grand Am and Cavalier (natch) try to boot past us going up the hill. My buddy tips into his Intrepid a bit and makes pace with the Grand Am until the speed limit while the whole time the Cavalier was struggling to even make it up the hill as it got steeper

My personal story was I was at a stoplight in the Ranger with some "Enter Sandman" blasting. Knowing the lack of sound deadening in the Ranger you could hear it all over the place. This was not to long ago just after I put my studded winter tires on. I'm waiting at this light and a little Civic with way too much bass and 4 people in it pull up beside me a rev the bejeezus outta that thing. As soon as the light went green he dropped the clutch and spun. He barely moved a foot on his bald-seasons (with huge rims, no question were the money went) and I rolled on the Ranger a bit and just leaned out the window and laughed. By the time I was a block away he just managed to hookup and move. Winter racing(ricing) for the lose.

One night going to town, a kid in a beater ricer thought he was bad. I was in my mom's HEMI charger and he was yelling out the window and banging on mine. So when the light turned green gunned it to the speed limit, left his ass there. He stalled out and was still at the light once i got to the 55 speed limit.

Ok I will admit I was a ricer in my younger days. I had a 10 second eclipse and loved making money with it. That is right I said making money with it. I was big into the street scene and only raced for cash. I know that it was illegal but I was young and did not care. Since then I joined the military, married and divorced all with in the time frame of my service contract. I had a 8 valve Golf Gti and a Leyland Mini Clubman with a 1375cc motor in the UK and the would move but I NEVER raced after I joined. I would like to get Fox body mustang gt and turn it into my hot rod but that is it.

I just laugh and point ricers when they challegne me. I have a 3.slow with tinted windows. Seriously come on you think I going to race anything.

like a go kart on steroids! your so low, turns on a dime. i beleive everyone should drive a mini at least once. i drove my friends moms new BMW MINI and that thing had power like crazy, i still like mine, and so my friend now

Aye, my mom has an 03 cooper s... and let me tell you... oh man, I want a mini as a dd. 30+ miles a gallon, handles like a champ, quick as hell, 6speed... so close to perfect.
