Ahhh! Help! I have a big leak!

I just bought some "Seal All" adhesive. I am going to try and use it on the third brake light.

Is there anything I should know before I tackle the project? Any special screwdriver or is it just cut and dry, remove the screws and spread it all over?

Thanks again, oh and will this "Seal-All" be enough. It was only 5 bucks...

you might not even need to unscrew it. just lay a small bead where it runs into the cab.

i can tell you from my experience that my 3rd brake light was not the problem. My problem was the seal between the glass and cab. My water stain was as high up the headliner as yours so i thought that for sure it was the 3rd brake light. i caulked it and it kept leaking. eventually i pulled my headliner down because it needs to be replaced now. while it's down i went inside the cab while it was raining and could see the water coming in. so i tightened a few bolts on the top of the glass and it helped but didn't fix the problem. ultimately, the best thing to do is unbolt the glass (or at least loosen them all) and replace the caulk that seals the glass. my dad's a mechanic and him and all his buddy's call it butyl caulk. it's in a rope, black, very sticky when warm and the stuff i've used has a piece of string through it. ideally, you'd want to take the whole glass out and take off the old caulk and replace with new. in the meantime, you can use silicon caulk but i'd do the brake light and the window to be on the safe side.

I had same thing happen. i had most of the interior apart to change the headliner, and had a shop re-seal my window. i think he only charged me like 20 bux since i had all the hard work done. then i re-did the water stained headliner. no more issues since.
use permatex headliner and carpet glue if you're gonna re-do the headliner yourself. that 3m stuff is junk. after 2 weeks the headliner was allready sagging.
