When we put the Grabber 31 up against the truck the clearances on the front and back of the fenders looked incredibly tight, like a finger or two tight... It seemed like it would have looked like a street truck slammed on some 20's basically...

Yes, the current tires are 255/70/16's which according to the tire calculator I've been using is about the same as a 30/9.5-15 diameter wise give a MM or 2...

the 31 will fit PERFECT, the guy at the store is a dumbass, and the fact that they want to charge u 200 for something that would take u 10 minutes todo in the driveway is NUTS


the only way for u to know what itll actually look like is to jack up the truck and make sure the new tire center opening is in the exact same spot as the wheel, otherwise u will think it wont clear like the way u rolled it out and just set it next to

I have to search for it again, but I did see a thread with a guy showing off his Red FX2 or 4 with 31's on it and they seemed to clear no problem. Truck didn't seem to be lifted but I was thinking the FX2 or 4 sit higher stock.

For now I think i'm just going to see what the tires ordered look like on the truck and if they look bad I'll try to have them return them and order me a set of the AT2's and just sweat out the 2wk wait on the old tires.

Yeah thats an 05+ ranger which actually sits about 2" lower then your truck should.

because in 05 or 06 they dropped the ride height of the 4x4 ranger a few inches.

The pics of my truck is with 31's and no lift on them either.

Well after a whole mess I'm not really go into it, here is what the truck looks like now:

The 30's are definitely too small, but I guess I'm just going to chalk this up to a learning experience. I'll upgrade up to 31's soon and hopefully find someone that will buy these 30's.

Wheel fitment is good but it looks like I could have gone with a 3.5 or even 3.25in BS because of the fender flares on my truck. If they weren't there the tires would be right out at the metal fender.

lol.....after all and he still didnt listen to the advice of everyone on here thats done it thousands of times, u got 30's on it, awesome, now u should go back and smack the guy at the store with your local phone book for selling ur tires your going to curse every day

Well I went in wanting 31's. By the time people said 31's would fit for sure on here the tires had been ordered already. The rest is a long story that I'm not going to waste the forums time on.... I'm just sucking it up and hopefully upgrading soon....

I did go with the wheel sizing that everybody recommended and that worked out perfectly...
