Aggresive offroad stance

Problem is that I can't find any D Windows in that fitment, the closest I've found was the 15x8's I posted above with 4"BS and -12 offset.

Anybody know where I could get them with the specs I'm looking for? I tried Summit, Jegs, and a few other places. I'd be willing to go with knockoff's if they were the right fitment.

Also wouldn't 8in wide with a 3.25 stick out too much? The 3.75 mentioned seems like a happy medium.... Hmmmmm....

If I can't find anything I guess I'll go with the 15x8 and 4"BS, the pics Original_Ranger posted look pretty good. Though I probably won't go with a tire as aggressive, probably a 265/75/15.

Take a look at Pro-Comp wheels. If I remember correctly, they have D-Windows in various backspacings.

Well I can get pictures of my truck with winter tires in that size, still looks good they just don't stick out as much being on stock rims.

Well, after spending waaaay too much time pondering this whole situation I think I'm about to order 15x8 D Windows since they're the closest thing to what I want in the fitment I want.

Only problem i'm seeing now is center bore..... UGH... worries?

Baaah! Perfect??

Yet won't ship till Mar 31st.....

Update! I think I may have found my solution..... found a nearby place called "4 Wheel Parts Performance Centers" which carry what seems to be the perfect fitting set of 15x8's which I can go and have them throw on for me to try:

They also have them available in flat black... ummmm....

The first ones from summit will fit but the ones you have linked from the Jegs website are for chevy S10's not rangers.

The center hole should be able to fit over your trucks hubs BTW, my D windows have atleast a 1/4" of room on either side.

Whoops, wrong link. Fixed now... .though that might not be an issue anymore.

Well I passed by the 4 Wheel Parts today and sadly they didn't have anything in stock. Even worse the General Grabber AT2's I was looking at would take 2wks plus to order. They did have a General Grabber 31x10.5-15 on the floor though, we took it out to the truck and noticed it would be waaay to big without modifying the fenders. So I stepped down to a 30x9.5-15.

The only tires at a reasonable price that he could find for me that he could get in quickly from a local warehouse were the ProComp All Terrains.

It'll be interesting to see how they fit, they'll be a bit smaller than I was expecting but will be pushed out to the flares with the 3.75BS on the 15x8's.

I'll post pics as soon as they're on....

What year is your truck? and is it 4x4 or 2x4?

If the 31's were way too big then the 1" difference would still probably be too much... What size tires do you have on the vehicle now?

Also why not just wait the 2 weeks to get the exact tires you want?

99' XLT 4x4... The truck actually has a 30in equivalent on it now, it was strange to see how much bigger the 31in looked. It may have been the way the suspension was sitting or how the truck was parked. But I rather play it safer than sorry because I don't want to lift or modify the truck right now.

I honestly can't wait the 2wks because the current tires are falling apart and have started showing cords in some small places. I didn't even want to wait the 2 days for them to order tires. I'm doing alot of volunteer trail work lately and I'm already one tire down and on the spare on the rear of the truck because a sidewall gave out on one of the tires. Everytime I go out I'm worried about loosing another tire and have to be towed home especially when driving around on fire roads like these:

that truck should be able to clear 31's easy. my brothers (any many others) 93-7 will even clear 31's stock. you have to remember that a 1 inch bigger tire will only actually get closer to the fender by about 1/2"

Yeah I have a 99 4x4 and I have 31's on it easily! I am cranking the t bar 2" and I will be able to fit 33's no problem.

Why not go around and see if they can put on some temperary tires until you get the ones you want in? The tire stores I used to work for did that. Pay like 150 bucks and they put on used tires that someone else didn't want to keep, order your tires then 2 weeks later take it in and get your tires they take back the old ones and keep them until someone else runs into the same situation then they install your tires and give you your 150 back. Atleast thats how my shop did it. Made lots of people happy.

also judging by the looks it seems you have 16" rims so I assume you have the 245/75R16's? which is closer to a 31.

Yeah, he said if I wanted to crank the Tbars they would probably fit but for them to do it would be another $200..... Ehhh I'm not really looking to lift this truck, at least not now.

When we put the Grabber 31 up against the truck the clearances on the front and back of the fenders looked incredibly tight, like a finger or two tight... It seemed like it would have looked like a street truck slammed on some 20's basically...

Yes, the current tires are 255/70/16's which according to the tire calculator I've been using is about the same as a 30/9.5-15 diameter wise give a MM or 2...
