Anyone own a pair of these and recommend them for primary hands free headset? I see the opencomm has a boom mic for 180, but the openrun is only 80 and has phone call capability. How’s the audio quality for the person on the other end with these things?

I really like the bone conduction idea. I absolutely hate having things stuffed in my ears, and they seemed to have excellent audio quality for what I’m looking for (mainly talk radio at work).

I’ll give my initial thoughts. I found a couple videos with guys recording audio in loud locations and the set with the boom mic was better. I got that set and it seems to be fine. They’re not the greatest for listening to stuff in loud areas cause there’s no noise isolation of course. They’re better than using the phone I’d say. They’re probably a good primary headset if you need it for the car or only have a couple folks in the office, but a light, on ear headset would be better for the pro talker.

They tickle off I turn them up a good bit.

The tickling is definitely one of the weird characteristics of bone conduction. I like mine a lot for running and bike rides. They're also a good fit at the office so I can take calls and still interact with people in person.

I love mine too. I use them for cycling and they work great. I never tried them while driving but I bet they are fine.

A buddy uses his to replace his old jawbone for all uses. He loves them and I can hear him fine when we talk in the phone

I will ad that they’re a tad small for my apparently fat head. In my army days I believe I wore a 7.5 and I have a cheapo SnapBack that I adjust at 3 buttons if that helps. Looking up kinda pulls them off. That doesn’t bother me that much. The little sweat spot that forms under the ear pieces is more uncomfortable.

edit: they’re too small. Fine for calls, but moving my head pulls them off. Keep that in mind.
