Aftermarket Clutch Pedal?

This is something I've been looking up and working on for the last month or so now, I am currently building an 93' ford ranger that has the 4.0/M50D-R1 in it and I am in a situation where the factory pedal configuration does not fit anymore and I'm having to make everything myself. I am going to still run the factory slave cylinder and everything "factory" at the transmission side, I am just changing everything from the trans up to the pedal assembly. McLeod makes a hydraulic clutch line that plugs into the disconnect on the slave and converts it to a -4 AN fitting so I have the new clutch line figured out already

The question I have is, I'm sure someone has replaced the factory clutch pedal/master before in one of these trucks with an aftermarket assembly, what bore size master cylinder did you go with? From what I've gathered 5/8's diameter is the factory master cylinder size (or very close to it in metric sizing) and I was planning on getting a aftermarket Jamar 5/8's master for it. The only problem I am running into now is I don't know if the stroke of an aftermarket master is the same as the factory master cylinder, I am going to verify this today, so I don't know if a 5/8's master with a shorter throw will be creating enough line pressure. I have the option to run a 5/8, 3/4 and 7/8's bore size master from Jamar to fit my new pedal assembly.

Does anyone on here have experience swapping out the factory clutch pedal? This may turn into a trial and error event but Id rather not go that route if I don't have too :ROFLMAO: I just don't know enough about, but im fixin to learn somethin whether there's an answer out there yet or not!

(Pedal assembly is not mounted in this last photo, just sitting there for reference)

@Maritime Drag Racing might know or one of the other people who have heavily modified their Rangers and Bronco IIs. Not a common subject though.
