I've been having a recurring axle seal leak which is due to a shaft starting to wear, rather than using the repair bearing I'm leaning towards picking up a pair of aftermarket shafts (USA standard gear) which are made with better steel supposedly (1541H) does anyone have any experience with them?

I know i could swap to the Explorer 8.8 but I despise drum in rotor parking brakes and I already have a Detroit and 4.56s in my 28 spline axle and have been otherwise happy.

Know this is old, but same question?

Motive, dana spicer also available, are they all the same or do we have better luck with some over others?
