Advice on axle brackets

DON'T buy from ballistic fab!!

OK? I guess I wont buy from ballistic fab.

Would you care to elaborate? Like Ruffstuff any better?

I've never done buisness with them, I just saw them on the "good fab parts" sticky.

Was there one you liked better?

Ballistic Fab was banned from pirate4x4 when the admin began to hear about bad customer stories. Some people waited months for parts and were basically told they had shipped and Ballistic Fab didn't care. This is the short story, go to pirate4x4 and look it up.

RuffStuff uses mostly 3/8inch steel plate to make most of their products. The staff is very knowledgeable and customer service friendly. I have spoken to Dan about axles for over an hour when I had issues when I bought a wrong part. And he offered to send me the correct ones no hassle. You can take a 10lb sledge to one of the diff covers they sell and put scratches in it. Good beefy stuff, great prices, everyone I know has no complaints only cheers.

Wow, well thanks for letting me know, I had no idea. Will definately order from ruffstuff. I really appreciate it.

It's funny, I noticed the ballistic prices were 2-4$ more per comparable item vs ruffstuff's.

Got a little sick, but still made some progress. Passenger side bumpstop is in place.

Broke the tip off my prybar trying to pop those puny tacks on the plate visible in the bottom center of the photo. This gives me great confidence in the actual welds.
