Pour a little in each hole and spin the compressor slowly by hand 3 or 4 rotations. Add the rest to the drier.

Is it a NEW compressor? If so, check the original documentation for the new compressor. As I was shopping for a compressor the other week, I noticed that some are shipped with a small amount of oil (3 oz on the ones I saw) already inside.
