I have a 95 Ranger that I want to add the 4x4 valence on so when I add fog lights it will look "factory". I was wondering if anybody knew what size the cut-outs in the valence are? I dont have the valence yet but im shopping for fog lights now so when I get it then I can just go to town on it. Anybody know what the size is?? I dont want a light to small with a gap around it, I want a nice fit, something that has minimal space around it so it fill the entire opening. Anybody know the size????

you can get explorer fogs they should be the perfect size or you could do this.

Nah, good work though, I dont have the time or place to do that kinda work. I want to stick with the valence. Truck is going to be lowered and I like the way they look with the valence. Good work on the bumper, good idea but just not my thing.

i get where your coming from if i was lowered i would of done the valance but i would just rip it off on my truck

the explorer ones are 4.25 they should be around that

You can get the 93-97 foglights on ebay all day long, as well as the valance panel for cheap. The problem is finding the foglight bracket to hold them. Ford no longer sells them, soo its either find them in the junkyard or make your own brackets and weld them to the frame.

The Valence panels are not cheap, they try to sell them cheap and then hit you with 50-60 shipping charges.

To the original poster, I just swapped mine in and I believe the holes were 6". I used some 5" aftermarket fog lights and they fit fine.

Alright thanks for the help. Ill let ya know when I get it all set up wht I ended up with.

I know this is a bit late but ive gone a different route with the fog light set up. Found that I can use a 98-01 bumper and fog lights and in my opinion looks a hell of a lot better. Found a ranger like mine on google when searching in the images category for "bagged ranger". Its a red x-cab with a newer bumper, valance and fog lights. So come spring time its gonna have a next gen bumper. Ill post pics when its done.

No kidding? I didnt know the 98-01 bumper would just bolt up and match the body lines... but it does look like it could.... Definitly post pics, I'd love to see how it turns out.

I found that the openings are 5" in diameter and literally just walked in from installing some Pro Comp Explorer 55's (5" driving light). I found a set of factory brackets. I have to wait till it gets dark to check the aim.
