So we have out grown my wheeling truck which was a Sidekick. Decided it was time to get something a bit bigger that would be easier to fit 35's under. Found this guy on Craigslist for a good deal. Needed a new head but otherwise in pretty good shape and no rust!

It is a 92 with manual t case and hubs with the 2.9 and 5 spd. Plans are 6" Skyjacker class 2 lift with Chevy leafs in the rear and the F250 shock towers in the front for some more flex.

that sounds good, but if i were you, id save the money for straight axle, if you plan on crawling or anything, because your not going to get the amount of flex you desire with ttb. i did the skyjacker class 2 6inch and put chevy leaves in the rear (by the way the chevy leaves were the best hundred i spent) but the front end doesnt hardly flex at all, even with swaybars removed, and extended radius arms. to tell you the truth i wish i never bought my lift, but if you are going to buy a ttb lift, skyjacker is deffinately the way to go.

That is a nice truck! And it doesn't have the usual rust over the wheel wells that I can see and it has the good mirrors too.
Are you planning to do any mods to the engine or axles?

That's a nice clean truck. :icon_thumby: The black over red is kindof unusual.

TTB will give you plenty of flex if you set it up right (pic). Mostly it's just a matter of eliminating those rock-hard TTB lift coils.

I see it's a longbed, you gonna bob the rear on it at all?

I was looking at your CD pages earlier to get some idea of what the truck will look like when it is done. Don't know if I will bob the bed. I want to put a canopy on it for camping and stuff.

I think making it so that a shortbed topper fits would look cool.

I had thoughts of bobbing my Ranger many times before I ended up getting the BII for my main trail toy.
