I know this probably belongs in the entertainment thread but that often gets over looked by most.

I just got home from watching this film and guys I gotta say and I know this may be a bold statement and some may not agree but I think this film is better than Saving Private Ryan. It makes ya wanna stand up and say Hell Yeah America. Go see it! If for no other reason than to tip your hats to the Navy Seals that have given it all.

Oh I forgot to mention that it is produced and directed by "Mouse" McCoy from Dust to Glory which I didn't know till the credits but pretty damn cool to, Makes me appreciate his work even more

it's on my list, prob gonna go see it next week

Its government propaganda haha

Its government propaganda haha

Now Rose....you very well know that it's up to our Guvment to suck every bit of Heroism possible from men and women who are patriotic and willing to give all they have...so...honor the Soldiers/dishonor the political Suits who "feed" off the bravery of others.....

annnnnnnd another thang....the Actors/Producers who get richer off of War Movies ought to give 50% of their paychecks (out of sheer gratitude) to injured/unemployed Vets who fought in the SandBox......that's my version of SHARE-THE-WEALTH !

It's a recruitment tactic!!!! haha I'm just teasing

I'd like to see it...looks exciting...but I may have to wait till it comes out on VHS...lol...

I recently read a book by a Navy Seal...and I got the impression that if I had joined them when I was younger I would have puked, sweated, and darn near died trying to make the grade...they don't make it easy to get in...so I respect them just for that...and they are probably the best trained people in the world...

I just saw it and I liked it very much. If you are going in expecting amazing acting you will be disappointed. They are real navy seals, not actors. The action was great and the message was greater. I think less than 15% of the people who see this movie will truly understand the message it conveys. Some of this will hit pretty close to home for those who have served and lost someone.

Great movie.

Couldn't have said it any better then that.

Denzel Washington (Homeboy from NY) has donated big $$ to the Fisher House & San Antonio Military hospital-

never apologize when you're correct...(been there--fell for that...a war should only be started when Congress is willing to lead the Charge)

Man! I'm surprised he's still allowed to act after doing that....Salute to him!

As someone who served. The men and women of the U.S. Military deserve to be honored in a film. You call it what you want, I call it a chance for our Armed Forces to get the recognition they deserve.

He does a lot for the Military. He's a stand up guy. He may not agree with the wars, but the people that actually fight them deserve the help.
