I have a relative who is going to help me paint my truck. I want to do a simple paint job and Ive done all the prep work, I was told that acrylic enamel would be the way to go. What all is involved with the process, as far as what you have to mix in with it, thinning agents, hardners, etc.? I dont know much about paint so basically what I'm looking for is a shopping list. I'm not painting the inside of the bed and I have a Std. cab long bed, so how much paint would I need, and if the paint needs to have any additives, what percent? Sorry if my question is all over the place, jack daniels is helping me ask it.

Also I'm buying all my paint and supplies from Napa

a body shop paint store will tell you, they can print off instructions and help you with anything you need.... make sure you tell them you want cheap!

might want to actually type standard, people might think you get around:icon_rofl:. dont buy from napa though, that stuff is usually crap.

LMAO, that was pretty funny :icon_rofl: oh man. Its a wheeler, so I'm not too worried about quality, I just want it to be one solid color, and look good from like 10 or 15 feet away.

in that case, tractor supply! cant beat $20 a gallon! gets dull in a month though.
