AC pump has a cut plug?

Hey guys! Long time no post. Got the Ranger going (which I will elaborate on in a different thread) and have a question about some more wiring woes.

As we all know, there is a power plug for the AC compressor (or what I assume is some sort of power apparatus). This plug runs to a clip on the intake manifold and then goes somewhere else. Problem is that the other end of this plug was cut on my truck, and I have two wires with no end on it, and I have no idea where they are supposed to go! The AC doesn't work and I sure would like it to! I took a couple of pictures of said wires to help show what I mean:

If any of you know where they go and what kind of plug I need, that would be awesome! Still think it may need recharged, but getting power to it will help determine that! Thank you all for looking!

Look at your high pressure and low pressure switches. Those cut wires probably go to the high pressure switch. The plug for the compressor is wired in series with both switches. If the high or low pressure goes out of range and trips either switch, the compressor shuts off. As long as both high and low pressure are within spec, the compressor keeps running.

Might be a dumb question, but where are said switches at?

EDIT

Did some investigating and found that there are two wires from the plug running away from the condensor are also cut, one black/yellow stripe, the other black/red stripe. The ones coming from the pump are black and black/yellow stripe. Once the engine cools down some more I will poke around a bit, but I just burnt the crap out of my hand!

That's ok if you don't know, AC is really easy once you wrap your head around how it works and what parts are what. The high pressure switch is going to be on the right side of the engine bay on the metal AC line running into the condensor. You'll see the high pressure valve; right next to it should be the high pressure switch.

The low pressure switch is coming right out of the top of your accumulator/drier.

He's right as above, the switches are wired in series. Both switches need to work. So follow the wiring that comes out of both switches. You'll probably find where it links up eventually.

PS, are you checking to see if the compressor works? You can always apply power directly to Black/Yellow and ground black. With the motor running you'll see if it kicks on. Not sure why tarded previous owner cut the plug instead of just unplugging it. Whatever. People are tarded. :)
