So my AC stop working one day and after trouble shooting I discovered that the clutch is missing. The bolt must have backed off and the clutch worked its way off the splined shaft. apparently this isn't that uncommon. Anyway here is the problem. My whole system is fine, no leaks, fully charger and electrical is good. I want to just replace the clutch, but I need to know the spline count on the shaft and the length of the clutch engagement on the shaft in order to find that right one.

The truck is a 2002 4.0L Ranger

Time to hit the junkyard.
Grab a couple off a few similar Fords.

Tried the local you pick, wouldn't sell just the clutch itself, however I was able to get the whole compressor off a 2010 with under 40K on it for less than what I could find the clutch for. Know a guy with everything needed to evacuate the system and a fresh tank of R134a, going to do the swap next week.
