So I have a 1989 Supercab, RWD. 2.9l.
Happy little truck. It just ate some brakes on me and I put in new wheel cylinders, drums, shoes (mechanical damage), hardware, adjusters.. not fun when a hold down nail snaps off at 65. Fun night.

So I bled it all out and I was looking for the ABS valve, just to do a full bleed for giggles (fluid's pretty dark and nasty)..and to make sure I know where it is when I go to bend all new lines for it next week, and.. I think I found it. About directly below the master cylinder on the frame rail, rear line running into and another that runs off to never never land.

Where the HECK is the bleeder on it? It looks like nothing but a rectangular box with an electrical connector on the passenger side. I popped the rubber cover off the thing on the rear, but was just a strange looking fitting screwed into it. Am I missing something or is this odd?

I think you're seeing the proportioning valve. No way to bleed that other than bleeding the system. The RABS valve is further down the framerail and should have a bleeder screw on it.
