I have a 1997 Ranger, 4.0L, and recently the ABS light has started to come on causing the rear wheels to lock up very easily. I've done lots of reading on the subject and have already replaced the RABS module and speed sensor. Those two items were the two items mentioned when scanned on the OBD computer at the local brake shop. Wheels still lock up and ABS light still comes on randomly. Anyone have any other suggestions? I was going to do the flash test as well but I am having trouble locating the exact connector that I am suppose to use for the test. I've read about different locations and different wire colors...Can anyone tell me if one of the below is the correct one?
PIC 1 - located below dash on passenger side, near side kick panel.
PIC 2 - located on the main fusebox in engine bay, driver side
PIC 3 - any of these 3 sets of connections here, located on passenger side in engine bay (assume they are running to PIC 1
)
I am truly stumpped at this problem. Any answers would be appreciated. Thanks.
