So ive got a 91 ranger and had to replace the ABS speed sensor since i was tired of my speedo reading way faster than it should and not having rear abs.
The problem is the bolt snapped that holds it in. I live in north idaho where they use salt, calcium chloride and im fairly certain the blood from the creature in Aliens to keep the roads clear in winter so this isnt exactly unexpected. What was unexpected was how easily it broke. Either im ridiculously strong
or the bolt was super soft..... id like to think the former if its ok with all you
Anyway i slapped some super glue on the plastic flange and glued it to the diff for the time being. I also ran it up and down our super bumpy country road at oh-god-im-gonna-die-please-make-it-stop speeds and it didnt come out or leak fluid.
Has anyone had this problem before? Do you think im tempting fate by having it just glued instead of bolted?
Thanks
