I have a 97 Ranger with a Dana 28 and 7.5 axles. I have a set of 1994 Ranger Dana 35 and 8.8 axles I want to install. The 1997 Ranger has ABS, the '94 axles do not. Will this be a problem? Thanks

your 97 cant have a d28. it already has a d35 in it.
the d35 pig should bolt right in. the abs sensors are out at the wheels, not in the diff. the rear abs system is the same between 97 and 94.
My 97 front has the smooth case, no fins, that makes it a 28. I checked the tad also.
My 94 axle is non-ABS, my 97 Truck has ABS. Just don't want surprises when I do the swap.
Yeah that is a 35/28 hybrid. Sucks man

Well you can leave your existing beams.. but you'll have to swap the pig and inner shafts.
What gear ratio do you have now, and what ratio are the axles you want to put in?
