abs light

i have a 99 2wd ranger and the abs light is on. i filled the brake fluid up to the max line. it is still on. does anybody have any suggestions?

You will need to diagnose it.
The first step is getting the codes.

However, Knowing this system, the first thing I would do is pull the sensor out of the rear axle and clean it. There is a good chance that will fix it

fixed it just replaced the sensor also fixed my spedometer by doing that
