Before I replaced my brake pads there was no light trouble. Afterwards the light comes on at about 13mph. I changed the differential flud, inspected the gears, and replaced the speed sensor. Didn't help.

When I compressed the pistons on the front calipers did I screw up by doing it the same way I have done every other vehicle (c-clamp and remove the lid on the reservoir)?

Well, that is how you compress calipers, and the calipers themselves have nothing to do with ABS.

You might have a sensor out of place or something. Can't really do anything meaningful without knowing what codes are there though.

I hooked up a code reader that is ABS capable and it got a message that says something along the lines of the vehicle computer ABS is not readable(compatible). There are no sensors out of place because I did not remove any. There was nothing changed except the rotors, pads, brake booster and brake fluid. The light was not on before these were changed, but instantly came on after the work was complete. I changed the rear speed sensor a bit ago with no improvement.

So your code reader doesn't speak Ford ABS. The ABS system is computer controlled and self diagnosing, you can't really do anything with that light without a code.

I am trying to find somewhere with a code reader other than my dealer. I went to O'Reilly's and got the first result, is there a particular type reader I need to ask about before I make the drive?
