I own a 93 ford ranger xl 4x4 5 spd and my abs light is on and i dont think i have abs in the front is there a sensor in the rear brakes they are drum??

The sensor for the rear is in the top of the differential housing. It only has one.

but wouldnt my speedo not work if that sensor was screwed up

Nope. On a 93 the speedometer is mechanical, geared off of the transmission. The differential sensor is strictly for the ABS.

Is it easy to change this sensor???

One bolt, one connector. Easy.

Ordinarily, though, these sensors are pretty reliable. It's probably ok. Most likely the problem is the RABS valve, and that is another matter entirely.
