Well guys, I almost shit myself the other day. I was doing about 80 and I stood on the brakes and the rears locked right up and I went sideways.

Scared me half to death.

I have a 1992 Ranger STX 4x4 with RWABS.

I don't see the ABS light when I turn my key on. Nor does it come on, or my brake light while driving.

It doesn't even work offroad.

I know theres no pump underhood, like my fathers fullsize Bronco. Theres some modulator or something?

I'd like to get it working before winter....

So where do I start? I see the ABS sensor on the rear end, so I have ABS for sure.

Thanks guys!

Well, your bulb is probably burned out to start with. Likely from being on for a long period of time.

My RABS does not work as it should. I was playing in the snow and I could feel it pulsing once ever 2-3 seconds.

Basically there is a solenoid on the driverside frame rail that pulses the rear brakes. Or is supposed to.
