Just grab everything from the spindles out, that way you have spare wheel bearings, all the locknuts, etc.

I'd just grab the tranny and tcase as one piece and seperate them later. Then scrap the tranny or have it rebuilt as a spare. You just need to disconnect the shifter linkage, sensors, etc and unbolt the driveshafts, then the tranny crossmember.

Grab the entire truck from him. Part out the rest of it. You should be able to get at least $75 for the seats if they are not torn.

Find out what the scrap yard will give him, and pay any difference in the debt. You will easily be able to make back what you pay him when you part it out.

to pull coils you have to undo lower shock mounts an sway bars then theirs a 1 1/8 nut holding the coil un do that nut i would put some heat on it comes out SOO much easier a then step on the hub an the coil should pop right out.

Well you will need to jack the explorer up by the frame to let the front suspension droop down enough to let the coils loose. With a 6" lift you may need a coil compressor to get them out.

I put a jack under the axle beam on the side I was taking a coil out of and then jackstands under the frame (jacked up all the way)

Then you can adjust how much the suspension droops so that you can get a wrench between the coils.

I usually go from the top of the coil bucket with a bunch of 1/2" drive extensions.

If it has 6" coils, grab the drop brackets too as they are worth money.
