i know you cant flat tow a automatic transmission with no transfer case. my question is can you if your transfer case is a Manuel shifting. if so do you leave it in park and transfer case in neutral. because the transfer case is lubed by the rear drive line.

Same way a Jeep Cherokee works from what I've heard. On the Jeeps you just place the transfer case in neutral, and put the transmission back in park. With the Rangers and Bronco 2's though be sure your hubs are in the free position as well.

Yep, no problem.

Just for reference, the E-shift cases also have a neutral too, though you have to remove the shift motor off the rear of the t-case to manually shift it there (detent between 4HI & 4LO). For whatever reason the system electronics don't seem to be programmed to utilize the neutral position on that setup.
