A4LD to M5OD

so is it the same as swapping in a FM145???

pretty much, Just make sure you have the right clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, slave etc for an M5OD instead of an FM145/6

it will be a 94 donor truck with an M5OD to a 92 with an Auto. anything special i would need to get??

Nothing special. Just your clutch pedal assembly, PCM etc. you say donor truck so i'm assuming you have the whole truck and can just pick and pull as you need the parts.

i have a 94 right now that im going to scrap soon, i am planning on buying a 92 with a bad a4ld in a couple days so im trying to get my ducks in a row before i begin the swap, will the pcm out of the 94 work on the 92 since they are both 4.0s?

It should, swapping the PCM simply ensures your MIL isn't always on, and that the truck doesn't hang during shifts. I don't think there were any big changes between 92 and 94.

my 94 has a clutch, slave, and master cylinder with around 20,000 miles on them so i planned on reusing them if possible, i guess my question is what parts do i need to buy new and get from a junk yard because the stuff on my 94 wont work on a 92 to compl

i guess it doesnt matter anymore, the 92 just got sold out from under me
