A4ld TC work on 5r55e Trans?

I had to replace the torque converter after messing it up taking the engine out. I went ahead and bought another one at Advance Auto, and in the description it said A4LD, and the guy said it'd fit, so I went ahead and bought it. Is it supposed to fit?

Yep same converter. Just be sure to make sure the hub is good and smooth and put some oil on it so you don't have a dry seal at start up. All will be fine.

thank god. the input shaft is what was backing us up, tore apart the front end of the tranny, got it in!
