A4LD question

i have a stock 94 ranger with a A4LD in it. there is a small cooler in front of the radiator and a/c condenser that is right behind the grill. is that a trans cooler or is it for something else.

if its got rubber hoses with hose clamps going to it then yes its the trans cooler, mine is in front of the radiator on the passenger side

mine is on the passenger side too. i haven't ever looked to see if the lines ran all the way back to the trans. i just figured i would ask to see if someone already knew. I was gonna put one on if it didn't have one.

im almost positive it is, i know mine is definitely the trans cooler because the rubber lines were leaking. if you look from underneath there should be two hoses in factory clips under the core support, and you can look thru the grille to follow them all the way to the cooler
