I Am Putting An A4ld Transmission From A Bii Into A Ranger. The Shift Arm On The Transmission Is Backwards. The Rangers Goes Down And The Arm On The Bii Tranny Goes Up. I Need To Change The Bii To Go Down Because That Is What I'm Putting Back Into The Ranger. Does That Shift Arm Just Pull Off Or Do You Have To Take Whole Assembly From The Transmission. Please Help

Welcome

You have to change the pce from inside the tranny. Is it still out? If so then remove the tranny pan. Then pull the pin that locks it in place. Undo the nuts them hold it together. Now to pull that pin out is a real pain in the ass. Do a search on this site for it. And if its still out then put in shift kit. I did it and its not that hard and I have never did any work like that before and it shifts great. Another site that has a nice write up of A4LD is http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=137972
