A4LD Problems, NO reverse.. any help??

well guys, my 94 ranger 2wd 2.3 has had a problem since i got it about two months ago with not having reverse. I tried to replace it with a transmission i pulled out of a 96 mazda b2300 but i discovered that the plugs on the side of the case are completely different. I was not thinking when i was pulling the old one out and didnt realize until i had it on the stand comparing the two.

What i need to know is if i can crack open the mazda transmission and use the reverse out of it in my current transmission and if so if anyone has a link to pictures. (ive never rebuilt a transmission).....
