So I just rebuilt my trans. Put it in, filled it, checked gears and all that and no 4th or lockup. I checked power to the solenoids and resistance on them. Checked the plug that goes through the case to the solenoids. As far as I can tell electically the trans is sound. Im not really sure where to go next with it. I'm about getting frustrated as hell with this thing cuz it blew up on valentines day and I finally got it in the truck like three days ago. I just want this thing to work properly. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated

pull th evalve body and double check everything is fine in there and that there is no issue with the gasket.

My A/T took a while to work all the air out of the valve body/servos/etc. before 4th gear would work along with Overdrive.

Based on the post above me, I would say try driving it around town at lower speeds. Maybe everything will bleed its self out with some driving?

i've been driving it for 2-3 weeks now, around town since its got no fourth. i havent dropped the pan again yet because the trans guy helping me with it thinks it could potentially be the case connector. i've heard there's a diode in the connector but i havent found any info on it. if anyone knows how that works and resistance values for the solenoids that'd be very helpful because then i would know for sure whether or not its an issue with the trans or just something electrical
