Hi. im in the process on putting a 4.0l into my 87 ranger.the donor is a 1991 ranger 4x4 with the 4ALD trans.now my question is what do people use for a floor shifter since hurst and b&m don't make a floor shifter for it.not sure if the 2.8 2.9 bronco 2s had this trans in it with a floor shifter.any help will be appreciated.

The A4LD was around in 1985, the Bronco 2 and Ranger both had floor shifters, so you just have to find either truck and get the original shifter assembly.
