so has any companay come out with thicker bands for the a4ld or any other longevety based product somthing to make it last longer cause its timme for a rebuild an i might tell the guy to throw in so magic parts

Haven't heard of any aftermarket OD or intermediate bands for the A4LD. From my experience the bands hold up just fine as far as wear goes, have seen a few break though. Just be sure that the servo pistons are replaced, even if they look okay. You can use the largest servos from an A4LD, AA or AB cover on the OD & intermediate band for more holding force on the band. The ZC servo from a 5R55E is larger than the A4LDs AA or AB servo, if your running large heavy & soft tires this servo is great to use on the A4LD. I ran Super Swamper SXs & could not feel the transmission shift until I installed the larger ZC servos.

* AA & AB servo covers are 2.075" inside diameter.
* ZC servo covers are 2.317" inside diameter.
