A4ld 2 trannys, 3rd and reverse GONE

ok i have had just about enough with the A4ld, but i am in a postiton where i dont know what to do, i have a 93 ranger with 160k on her, i blasted my 2nd tranny, both times reverse and 3rd shit the bed, i dont know if i should do a trans swap or what, rebuild the trans? what would you guys recommend?

It took me 3 A4LD's before I switched to a manual Mazda 5 speed trans. The result was a truck much more fun to drive and pretty much bullet proof as far as transmission problems go. The only part of the swap that's a pain is installing the manual pedals, but you may be able to do the swap for about the same cost as rebuilding your auto trans. I was never sorry I made the switch.
