A quick intro

Hey everyone, just found a deal I couldn't pass up so I'm new to the Ranger world! I ended up picking up a 2003 Ranger Edge+ 4x4 with 94000 miles on it...truck is in great shape mostly. It needed a fuel pump and the cruise control buttons on the steering wheel, looks great other than that! Anyways, this is going to be a father/son project for my son to have when he turns 16. I'm not new to the offroad or custom modified vehicle scene but with this being his first vehicle, it will stay mild. We are looking at a small lift, tires, and a custom touch here and there...no SAS or 5000 watt stereo system (for now! lol) Thanks in advance for all the help I'm sure you will give me, I've been browsing and it seems like these pages are chocked full of tech and info.

Step bars are either getting repainted or removed, we are unsure right now. The grill is also turning gray so it will probably be resprayed for now until a black billet grill can be fit into the budget. Conner is wanting to go with red for the accent color so the orange EDGE decals will be coming off and some new custom red ones will be ordered. New rims, 33's, and a 4" superlift are being saved up for now. A bedcover is a MUST have item, hard to believe the soft covers for the ranger cost as much as one for my full size Ram truck!
