Got a 1989 bronco II that needs some attention after many years sitting in a back yard under a tree!
Hoping for some help on simple things many of you probably know backwards!
I'm done in the Florida keys so no local yardto visit for shopping. Hope all is good

Sorry but I'm not a emoji kind of guy, just a guy with an old truck and not looking for any new problems just trying to find some answers from others to help and no wish to get engaged in any online combats. If this is a perception of what I will encounter on this site then you can have it! I'm a nice guy just trying to fix an old truck, no alterior motive just would like some knowhow and help. That is all.

basically everybody gets asked to post some pictures of their vehicles. it's almost a running joke sort of deal.
some of those requests come with a bit of humor, few , if any are insulting.

sit back and watch for a while, read a few posts and you will get a better idea what this forum does.

a lot of people don't post their real names online.

First and foremost as described I am a new member signing into your website. So far I am receiving messages from unknown sources on this site with no identity or clarification of who is sending these " welcome messages".
I am merely someone who is seeking help among other owners of similar vehicles.
I have no need to take a step back, on the contrary perhaps whoever is custodian of this site should better regulate what content is distributed especially to new subscribers. For example you have not identified yourself and you are not the originator of the first message I received!

Once again as previously stated, I'm just a guy looking for some advise on fixing my old truck. Have enough drama in my life with a woman! If this is the game that must be played on this site then keep playing and have fun I will go elsewhere!

when a new member arrives they are normally sent a few welcome messages from random users and usually some from the official staff.
think of them as random "howdys" as you walk into a new place.
most people don't use their real names online. that's not an attempt to be bad or anything.
Jim, the forum owner keeps a clean house here.
I'm just a guy in Ohio with 2 Rangers and the desire to work on them. I'm currently swapping the engine in a 2005 Ranger.
the rest of us are Ranger owners (and Bronco) looking for advice, giving advice, and some casual conversing.

Well, @Vsopman, I certainly wasn't trying to insult you or pick on you. Dry humor. As suggested from others above this is a great site with tons of info. Take a look in the Tech Library and grab your favorite beverage, kickback and do a little reading.
